Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how prompt2site.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you register or sign in, we may collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials from our identity provider.
Content you provide. We collect Prompts, uploaded files, and other materials you submit to generate or edit websites.
Usage and technical data. We may collect logs, device and browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, and timestamps to operate and secure the Service and understand usage.
Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and similar technologies as described below and in our cookie notices where required.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the Service, authenticate users, process payments where applicable, communicate with you, detect abuse and fraud, comply with law, and analyze aggregated usage. We may use AI and third-party subprocessors to process your Prompts and generate output as described in section 4.
3. Legal bases (where applicable)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or similar regions, we rely on legal bases such as performance of a contract, legitimate interests (e.g., security and product improvement), consent where required (e.g., certain cookies or marketing), and legal obligation.
4. AI providers and subprocessors
To generate websites and related content, we send portions of your Prompts and related context to third-party AI and infrastructure providers (for example, large language model APIs and hosting services). Those providers process data under their terms and safeguards. We select providers that commit to appropriate security measures; however, you should not submit highly sensitive personal data unless you accept the residual risks of cloud and AI processing.
5. Sharing of information
We may share information with service providers who assist us (hosting, analytics, payment processing, email), when required by law or to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition). We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense as “sale” is defined under U.S. state privacy laws where applicable; see your rights below.
6. Published sites and public URLs
When you publish a site, it may be available at a public URL on our domain. That content is visible to anyone with the link. If you connect a custom domain, visitors may access your site through your domain according to your DNS and product settings.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type.
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise rights, contact us as described below. You may also opt out of non-essential cookies where we provide a consent tool.
10. International transfers
We may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
11. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
